Mama's battery was dead on her camera when we got to the zoo so no pics this time. We will get some next time. :(

Zoo Day

Haven and I are going to the zoo today with a couple friends. I will post pictures later!

One Month Old

Still can't believe it, but our baby is already a month old. She is holding her head up on her own, she wiggles and jiggles all the time, and coos and smiles a lot. We think her once dark hair is beginning to turn red (that would come from Amber's dad's side). It would be very pretty with her deep blue eyes. We're still not quite sleeping through the night, but we will take the 4 hour stretches that we get. We have rough nights now and again where she wakes up every hour or so and those next days are hard. I guess it's just her way of reminding us that it's not all about us anymore. :) All in all she has been such a joy to our family and we are so excited she is here.

Family Visits

Haven has had many people come to see her. We are so blessed to have so much family and friends that love and support us. Thanks to all!! Here are just a few of them.

1st Dr Visit

Haven had her first doctor's visit on March 26th. They checked her out and weighed her and said she was perfect. I know we're her parents but we happened to agree. :)

Haven Is Here!!

So it has been a while since I have written so I have some catching up to do. Our precious baby girl ~Haven Bray Wickell~ was born on March 22nd at 7:18am. She was 6lb 12oz and 19 1/2 inches long. We are so excited to say that she is wonderful and healthy and mama had a great delivery.

BIG Day!

Well...had our 36 week checkup yesterday and the dr just happened to do an ultrasound since we were in the ultrasound room. Turns out they think I may not have enough amniotic fluid to support the baby through a full-term pregnancy. So today we go to have a bio-physical test via ultrasound. If my amniotic fluid is not at least a 5 they are going to "encourage labor" in the next 2 days!!! Haven may be here soon!!!

Also, this is not something the dr's are concerned about, as she is a good size and developed well. Will update when we find out more.

32 Week Checkup

Had the first of the 2-week checkups this week and it went great! Baby Haven is about 3 1/2 pounds they guesstimate and is measuring right on what they expect. Her heart rate kept fluctuating as she did not want to hold still for the monitor. :) But it was is the 150's and up to 161. Also got some good info on pediatricians. Chris and I also are in the midst of our birthing preparation classes and those are going....well....they are just going. It sure seems like this time of delivery is creeping up on us fast. Thanks to everyone for your constant love and prayers, we feel so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives and can't wait for Haven to get to meet all of you.

Growing, growing, growing!

Well, this week alone my tummy grew a half inch around. This baby is getting bigger by the day it seems! Hopefully not just in her head size :0. Mama's next appt is Feb 1st. I have started to go every 2 weeks now, so the day is creeping up. We can't wait to see her, especially now that her nursery is done.

New Year's Hello

Hi all!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! This is going to be quite an exciting year for our family. :) This is my latest picture. 28 Weeks along now and doing wonderful! I really love being pregnant and it is going by so fast. Can't imagine how fast the next years will go as Haven grows.
