Hello all!
I have created this blog page so that all the friends and family can keep up on baby Wickell's progress, and see new pictures as we are "under construction."
Today I am 5 weeks and 6 days along according to my first ultrasound yesterday. The Dr says everything looks normal and good so far, but it is very early. Also, no twins in there, so just one baby this time around. :)
I will attach the ultrasound picture as soon as I get it scanned in to my computer.
Thanks to all for your support and prayers, and Praise the Lord for this wonderful gift! Chris and I are both VERY excited!

ReplyDeleteAs the baby's 'Grandparents-in-Christ', we are honoured and overjoyed to be the first to leave a prayer and praise!
First of all, we are thankful for God's gift of this baby to you both, Chris and Amber!
And it is a gift, not based on your good, (or lack of it) or on what you do (or don't do)...it is a sovereign work of God's Grace. 'Being confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in you, will perform it [and finish it] until the day of Jesus Christ.'-Phillipians 1:6.
This is also a lesson. God has always been for life. Not death. All GOOD gifts are from above. [James 1:17] Anything NOT good, is not from Him. Your lesson is that all gifts are gifts grace...like the rain. He makes even the rain to fall on the 'just and the unjust.' And the purpose is to bless you and cause you to seek Him. Chris, Amber, Jon and Michelle..a baby is given not based on your merits, but on His goodness! Read Romans 5:15-18.
Amber, we pray that this baby will transform your faith in Christ even deeper still. Our prayer for you both AND the baby..is that "He Who has begun a good work in you..will perform and finish it until the day of Jesus Christ."
